2015 & 2016
The initial idea came in 2015. We wanted to organize an interesting contest which did not consist in achievements of world-class character, but was grounded on pleasure and fun in climbing. In ideal case, with gaining new experience and unforgettable adventure. And we are getting on well with it for two years running.
In 2015, a trip to the Dolomites in Italy took place and for the winners, Aneta and Jakub, it was a week full of new adventures, especially in traditional climbing in cracks and off-widths. The trip to the sunlit Arco in 2016, focused on sport climbing, was similar to the first one. Aneta was climbing on rocks practically for the first time and completely fell in love with it, Martin tried multi-pitch climbing, and Artur took it as a rehabilitation after a spinal injury. Both the trips were more than amusing, but we still want to shift the whole project a little bit further, so you can expect a lot of principal changes in 2017 that you surely enjoy.
For me it was an absolutely marvellous and flawless trip. A brand new experience of trying rock climbing in addition to walls. I am awfully grateful for the patience they had with me when explaining me all things, for the excellent and friendly atmosphere, and for meeting every wish we had. Hats off to all those who prepared this event!Aneta Loužecká
Especially that multi-pitch climbing was a great benefit to me, as I had never had a chance of trying it before. I also learnt new things from the mountaineering methodology and tried twin rope climbing and also multi-pitch climbing in three persons. Thanks to that, my future climbing trips will be more varied, and thatʼs great.Martin Rybář
Once again thanks for amazing trip and climbing together. It was one of the best weeks of climbing in my life. Full of nice moments, beautiful scenery, and first of all, great people.Arthut Biela
What about 2017?
This year, it really will be worth participating. The contest takes place throughout Europe on selected climbing walls, and four winners will win a one-week trip with TENDON to the newly established climbing area in Romania. We breathe for climbing, and because we are an outdoor company, we have the possibility of forming communities, building relations between them, and contributing to their development. This idea is behind the goal that we set ourselves for this year, namely to build a new sport climbing area in Romania. To see unknown-yet places, to meet local people and culture, to support development of sport as such. All that would be impossible without Cosmin Andron, the EEMGA / RMGA mountain guide, to whom Romania is the native country.
